Workplace coaching skills

We don’t see workplace coaching as something that is reserved for psychologists. At the same time, to use coaching methods in the workplace effectively, training is a must! We train delegates to use coaching skills in their daily interactions and also in more formally defined coaching contexts.

This can help HR practitioners and line managers build a coaching culture at work and reduce their reliance on external suppliers for their day-to-day coaching needs. We can help employees develop their coaching skills from scratch and support their ongoing coaching development through a range of courses and masterclasses.

  • Introduction to Workplace Coaching: a two-day course covering the essentials of coaching at work. No prior experience is required and the emphasis is on acquiring the core skills required of an effective workplace coach.
  • Advanced Workplace Coaching: a two-day course for delegates who have completed ‘Introduction to Workplace Coaching’ (or similar), covering advanced cognitive-behavioural coaching techniques.
  • Workplace Coaching Masterclasses: a series of one-day workshops covering specific coaching themes, including: performance coaching, dealing with procrastination and stress in the workplace.

Our coaching courses are run by skilled coaching psychologists, who bring their first-hand experience of workplace coaching to bear on the course. Our emphasis is on creating an interactive and practical experience from the very start, allowing delegates to practise skills in a supportive environment, getting individualised feedback from an expert.

These workshops are run on an in-house basis, where one of our team comes to you and facilitates the session in your own location. This minimises disruption and absence from work.
