What is workplace psychology?
Known by slightly different labels around the world – industrial, occupational or organisational psychology – the focus is the same: using the science of psychology to make the workplace somewhere people can be their best selves and achieve their valued outcomes.
We bring the science of psychology to life in how we support our clients to:
- Boost and maintain their wellbeing and resilience in the face of challenge
- Attain levels of productivity that don’t detract from their wellbeing
- Work well with others through collaboration, cooperation and teamwork
- Provide inspirational and sustainable management and leadership

All of our practitioners are professional psychologists with extensive postgraduate training and professional accreditations. Qualifications include masters degrees and doctorates in workplace psychology, business psychology, psychometric assessment, and organisational psychology. In addition, our coaches also have significant coaching skills training and practice.

What is coaching psychology?
A coaching psychologist is a professionally accredited psychologist whose specialism is in coaching psychology. The British Psychological Society defines this as “an applied, evidence-based discipline that draws on established psychological theories and research to enhance performance, well-being, and personal growth. Practiced primarily with non-clinical populations, it helps individuals and teams clarify goals, build self-awareness, and overcome challenges in both their personal and professional lives.”
As such, we work with people in the pursuit of their valued outcomes, whether these focus on career aspirations, adapting to change, improving their wellbeing, or building management and leadership skills.
As psychologists, the difference we bring is a focus on the cognitive and emotional aspects of work and the workplace. We help our clients overcome their self-limiting beliefs, increase their self-awareness, build their self-confidence and self-compassion, clarify their values and establish a sense of purpose and meaning.

Who is coaching suitable for?
We provide coaching solutions to employees at all organisational levels, from new graduate entrants all the way up to CEOs. We work with professionals internationally, across a wide range of organisational settings and sectors. How does training work?
Training is a great solution when a team or a seniority-based cohort have a shared development need. We can support you to quantify the training requirement, select a relevant course, and deploy it in your organisation. All our courses can be run in person or virtually and we supply a range of digital materials to support ongoing learning and skills implementation. How do you improve workplace productivity?
We have a range of coaching and training solutions on the theme of workplace productivity. Our philosophy of productivity is based on sustainability. That is, approaches to work and productivity that are healthy and helpful over the long term. Productivity should not come at the cost of employee wellbeing or effective workplace relationships. We teach our clients how to prioritise, how to focus on priorities, minimise distraction and procrastination, and work towards meaningful goals. They learn this while also learning about the value of breaks, rest, reflection and pacing. Find out more about our approach to productivity here:
How do you boost workplace wellbeing?
We fundamentally believe – and the science supports this – that improving wellbeing enables better performance. Supporting employees to be healthy inside and outside of work improves job satisfaction and productivity, reduces sickness absence and turnover and enables people to be their best selves at work.
We can provide one-to-one coaching with a wellbeing focus (e.g. coping with pressure), deliver training to boost wellbeing (e.g. self-care practices) or create a bespoke wellbeing programme covering a range of evidence-based wellbeing topics and skills.
We can also help organisations from a strategic perspective, identifying and minimising the sources of stress and distress at work, equipping managers to have conversations about wellbeing, and designing roles that facilitate performance, not burnout. How do I choose the right service?
Coaching is the ideal solution where you want to support an individual, or a group with very diverse development needs. Training works best where the group have a shared development need. And development programmes are ideal when you want to achieve significant behaviour change (e.g. a productivity programme), improve the workplace for all (e.g. a wellbeing programme) or support a seniority-based cohort (e.g. a leadership programme).
If you’re thinking about introducing coaching or training, we’d be delighted to discuss your context with you, share our professional experience, and firm up your options so you can make an informed decision. Book a call with us today to find out more.
