Our programmes
Our development programmes consist of specially created bespoke development pathways, designed for the organisational context and level of seniority of participants.
We can design and deploy programmes for graduates, managers and organisational leaders, ensuring a challenging, relevant and joined up development experience
What is a workplace development programme?
Put simply, while a training course takes place within a day or even a week, a programme can be spread over anything between six and eighteen months. Most training courses emphasise the acquisition of knowledge and skills. Development programmes build on this by including intentional skills practice in the work environment, combined with the opportunity to reflect and learn from practice.
Programme delegates have an opportunity to learn about themselves as they practice, becoming reflective professionals, as they draw together learning from across a range of topics. While training can be seen as an event, a programme is an experience over an extended period of time – one that is designed to be transformational for participants.
Outcomes and Benefits

Who are development programmes for?
Development programmes can be designed for employees based on their level of seniority. We have run programmes for new graduate entrants, for long-standing managers and for organisational leadership teams. Programmes can also be designed around the development needs of those aspiring to seniority before they’re appointed (e.g. ‘high potential’ cohorts) for those who are newly-appointed to a relevant level of seniority (e.g. new managers).
Our experience
We have worked with high potential cohorts, newly-appointed managers and established leadership teams in contexts as diverse as telecoms, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage conglomerates, professional services, financial services and creative studios.
We’ve coached and developed graduates in the IT and energy sectors. We’ve worked with newly-created leadership teams and those aspiring to leadership in special effects studios, clean energy and data science businesses.
Our programmes are aligned against organisational needs and context, but usually cover a range of topics from our three core areas:
- Productivity: prioritisation, focus, proactivity, goal-setting, reflective practice
- Wellbeing: stress-management, effective coping, self-care, self-compassion, psychological flexibility, resilience
- Effectiveness: delegation, relationship management, influencing others, navigating change
How are programmes tailored?
We work with our clients to create relevant and contextually sensitive programme content, which is delivered in a way that engages, challenges and supports participants to experiment. We take existing organisational frameworks like competency frameworks, leadership frameworks, organisational values and strategic direction to build solutions that meet present and anticipated needs.
Delivery methods are chosen based on the availability and location of delegates. We have designed and run management programmes that included seven delegates in a single office location, all the way through to multiple leadership cohorts spread across North America, Europe and Asia. The number, location and seniority of programme delegates will influence the deployment model, but virtually all our programmes include a mix of:
- Online self-directed learning
- In-person skills workshops
- Personal reflection activities
- One-to-one coaching and support
- Periodic online drop-in 'office hours' sessions
