About Wayne

Wayne has extensive experience in leadership and executive development as well engagement, culture and ED&I.  He has delivered leadership programmes across Europe and globally including USA, Brazil, Mauritius, Mexico, South Africa, Moscow, Canada, Antigua, Uruguay, Philippines, Korea, and Hong Kong.  He has coached executives across the globe creating an open, safe, and honest space in which leaders can explore how best they can take up and perform their leadership or executive role.  He has particular experience of working with Women, LGBTQIA+ and Black and Minority Ethnic Leaders.

Wayne has contributed chapters to two books: The Tavistock Institute of Human Relations’ ‘Dynamics at Boardroom Level’ and Springer Nature’s ‘Management for Professionals: Global Diversity Management’. 

Wayne is a Visiting Professor of Leadership, Diversity, and Organisational Development at Middlesex University and trustee of the Attic Theatre Company.  He is Burmese/Scottish by background and a Londoner by birth.

Professional Experience

Wayne’s corporate experience includes Chief People Officer and Executive Advisor to the Board at Sentiem, a London-based investor and venture builder, Chief People Officer at Xapo Bank, Chief People Officer and Chief of Staff at Quartz Enterprises, Global Head of Leadership and Organisational Development at VTB Capital, and Head of Leadership and Development for Standard Bank’s international investment banking business.

Wayne has worked with organisations across sector including The Home Office, Harrods, National Australia Bank, The Prison Service, The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Siemens Business Services, Atos Origin, Barclays Capital, and King Games.

Qualifications

Wayne holds an MSc in Organisational Behaviour (Occupational Psychology), an EMBA, and a Doctorate in Leadership and Organisational Development – he was awarded the Ken Goulding Prize for Research Excellence.  His doctoral research focused on the experiences and development needs of minority leaders.
