Ep 097: A little bit of what you need
In this episode, Richard is joined by fellow chartered psychologist, Dr. Rachael Skews, who shares Richard’s interest in the factors that contribute to our wellbeing.
Together, they explore the concept of ‘self-care’ – the many forms it can take, and how it’s needed in a busy and unpredictable world. While the phrase might conjure up images of sweet treats and bubble baths, at its core, it’s about investing in yourself. This might be rest, getting organised, managing your boundaries or simply saying no to requests from others.
Huge thanks to Rachael for once again taking the time to come on the podcast. And thanks to you for listening! And please use one of our now-many communications channels to get in touch with feedback, questions and stories in time for our 100th birthday episode! We’d love to hear from you.
