Ep 136: Exploring Values and Goals

In this episode, Richard explores the important differences between our values and our goals, but also how we can use them together to achieve what’s really important to us.

While values can give us an important sense of direction, our goals represent the destinations we want to reach. So we need to think about them differently, avoid mixing them up, and bring them together to move towards what’s meaningful in life. We can use our values to bring meaning to our goals, to help us persist towards challenging goals and to ensure that the action we take towards our goals represents the kind of person we want to be.
