DropboxConnect: exploring business growth

Regardless of size, business growth is sure to be on the minds of organisational leaders on a fairly consistent basis. For the small, young organisation it’s often about rapid growth. More established and larger businesses may seek to continue their growth, but at a sustainable rate and trajectory.

Or is it that simple? Can the challenge of growth lead decision-makers to develop ‘blind spots’ when it comes to the wellbeing of their people or the development of a company culture? Is it possible to ensure people have meaningful work and a quality work environment while also pursuing ambitious growth targets?

As someone who focuses on workplace wellbeing and frequently finds himself coaching individuals to step out of the habit of ‘busyness’, I’m looking forward to discussing these important questions in public next month.

I’m delighted to be chairing a panel at DropboxConnect all about business growth. We’ll look at the sustainability of growth when it comes to innovation and the impact of growth on people and culture. I’ll be joined by a diverse panel of industry leaders and we hope to bring some clarity to this complex topic.

The event itself is free and takes place on Tuesday 8th of October in London. You can find all the key details via the DropboxConnect website.
